INGREDIENTS:-
1. One bowl of washed moong dal...
2. Half a teaspoon turmeric...
3. One teaspoon black pepper...
4. One tablespoon butter...
5. One teaspoon garam masala...
6. One teaspoon roasted cumin powder...
7. One teaspoon asafoetida (hing) powder...
8. One teaspoon chopped ginger and green chilies...
9. One teaspoon chopped coriander leaves...
10. Salt to taste...
11. One finely chopped onion...
12. One finely chopped tomato...
13. One tablespoon lemon juice...
METHOD:-
Step-1
Wash and soak moong dal for half an hour
Step-2
Take a cooker and put the soaked dal in it. Then add turmeric, salt to it and mix. Then cover the cooker and let it come for two to three whistles and turn off the gas.
Step-3
Open the lid of the cooker and the dal again for 5to7 minutes on low flame while stirring continuously.
Step-4
Take a bowl and put cooked dal in it and then add chopped onion, tomato, green chili, coriander, ginger to the dal.
Then add roasted cumin powder, lemon juice, and black pepper powder, butter to it for taste and serve hot.
